Urgent Recall Issued for Lithium Battery Charger Due to Fire Hazard

A serious product recall has been announced in coordination with Israel's Economy and Industry Ministry's Standards Commissioner. Shimon Schreiber Ltd. is urging customers to immediately stop using the FMS 3S, AC-2S (Model B3) power supply for lithium battery chargers. The product, manufactured in China by FMS and sold as part of the Tissan RTF system, was found to violate Israeli Standard 62368-1.

Testing conducted by the Standards Commissioner through the Standards Institution of Israel revealed that the charger's casing and internal components are not sufficiently heat and fire-resistant. This deficiency poses a significant risk of electrical short circuits, fire, and severe electric shock to users, even during normal operation or in the event of a malfunction.

Consumers who possess this charger are instructed to cease its use immediately. They are advised to return the product to their point of purchase for a full refund.
