Ironi Tiberias in Advanced Talks to Sign Michael Ohana
Ironi Tiberias is in advanced negotiations to sign midfielder Michael Ohana, according to reports. The club has entered the race for the player, who was also reportedly of interest to Hapoel Petah Tikva.
Ohana's potential signing is linked to the impending arbitration hearing of Guy Hadida. If Hadida departs, Tiberias aims to acquire Ohana to fill the number 10 position. While discussions between Tiberias and Ohana are progressing, a final agreement on terms has not yet been reached.
Last season, Ohana made 20 appearances for Maccabi Haifa, scoring three goals and providing four assists. After starting the season outside the squad, he became an important player for Barak Bakhar's team by the end of the campaign.
Ohana's career includes stints with MS Ashdod, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Beitar Jerusalem, and Maccabi Netanya. He returned to Ashdod in 2023 before moving to Tiberias and subsequently to Maccabi Haifa. His next move in Israeli football may now be to Ironi Tiberias.
