Israel Hosts International Course on Blue Economy Innovation
An international course on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy" concluded in Haifa on September 3, 2026. Organized by MASHAV, the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation, the program ran from August 24 to September 3 and brought together participants from various countries.
The course focused on Israel's experience and innovative solutions in areas such as the blue economy, entrepreneurship, advanced technologies, sustainability, and water resource management. Attendees learned from Israeli experts, visited relevant organizations and projects, and gained insight into how Israel integrates innovation, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation to address environmental and economic challenges.
During a closing ceremony attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and MASHAV, participants received their certificates. They are expected to return to their home countries equipped with new knowledge, tools, and ideas, carrying with them the Israeli experience in innovation and the blue economy. Through this knowledge exchange, Israel aims to strengthen international cooperation and contribute to a sustainable future.
