Right-Wing Activist Slams Bereaved Father Joining Liberman's Party

Right-wing activist Meni Asayag has sharply criticized Rafi Ben Shitrit, a bereaved father who announced his intention to join Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beiteinu party. Asayag attacked Ben Shitrit's harsh language directed at Avi Chai, stating that while Ben Shitrit is a bereaved father of a fallen soldier, his entry into politics makes him subject to criticism.

Asayag described Ben Shitrit as one of the most "blatant, rude, venomous, insolent, and verbally violent" individuals in the opposing camp, claiming to have personally experienced regular "distilled poison, curses, and slander" from him, which led Asayag to block him. He contrasted the number of likes Ben Shitrit receives with those of Dr. Avishai Ben Chai, whom he characterized as "bowing his head in incomprehensible and inexplicable subservience."

Asayag further asserted that the opposing camp is driven by hatred and unwilling to engage in dialogue, accusing them of lacking morality. He advised Avi Chai to abandon attempts at appeasement, suggesting that such efforts only provoke further slander. Asayag recommended taking legal action against prominent accusers and denouncers, rather than attempting to placate them, stating that this approach would elicit a different reaction from the other side.
