Natalie Portman Welcomes Third Child in Paris at 45
Oscar-winning Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman, 45, became a mother for the third time last month, giving birth in Paris, where she currently resides. This new chapter comes with her partner, Tanguy Destable, marking their first child together. Portman's new baby joins her two older children, Aleph, 15, and Amalia, 9, from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied.
Portman had confirmed her pregnancy in April during an interview with Harper's Bazaar, expressing her gratitude and calling the pregnancy a "true miracle." She noted that this pregnancy felt different from her previous ones, attributing the sense of calm to her age, experience, and deeper self-understanding. She also reflected that this might be her last pregnancy, leading her to savor each moment.
During her pregnancy, Portman maintained a relatively calm routine in Paris, spending time with her children, swimming, and walking in local parks. She humorously commented on the French calculation of pregnancy duration, where 41 weeks is considered full term, adding an extra week to her perceived waiting period.
