Jerusalem Faction Blocks Route 4 Near Bnei Brak in Morning Protest
Ultra-Orthodox hardliners from the Jerusalem Faction blocked traffic on Route 4 at the Coca-Cola Junction near the entrance to Bnei Brak on Wednesday, in protest over the arrest of a draft evader. It was the first time the faction held a demonstration in the morning, and the timing caused heavy traffic jams in the area during rush hour.
The protest came as a surprise, and according to the report, further details were expected later. The blockade affected one of the main routes in the Gush Dan area and quickly disrupted morning traffic flow.
