Sakhnin Striker Pereskiv Out for Six Weeks With Muscle Tear

Football club Bnei Sakhnin is facing a significant injury crisis as striker Daniel Pereskiv has torn a muscle and is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks. Pereskiv joins a growing list of injured players, including forward Dimitri Kabhra, who suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tear, and Angolan midfielder Norberto Carlos, who tore his groin muscle and is likely to be released by the club. Pereskiv, who recently signed with Sakhnin, had started the previous match after coming on as a substitute in his debut. His absence is a blow to the team, which has started the season with only one point from two games. Additionally, defender Uri Dahan will miss the upcoming match against Beitar Jerusalem due to a prior agreement, though new signing Antonio Sefer might make his debut. The club is also reportedly in talks to sign a foreign defender, having previously been linked with French player Inok Kwating.
