Four-Year-Old Critically Injured in Jerusalem Vehicle Collision
A four-year-old boy was critically injured Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle near his home in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood of Jerusalem. Emergency medical services received a report at 6:04 PM about a child brought to a local clinic on Moshe Dayan Boulevard, apparently after a traffic accident.
MDA (Magen David Adom) paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment. They transported the child to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem while performing resuscitation efforts. Paramedics described the incident as "shocking," noting the toddler was unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and had sustained a severe head injury.
According to medical personnel, they were told the child was injured in a traffic accident. They continued treatment and rushed the boy to the hospital's trauma unit, continuing to fight for his life. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
