Child Critically Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle in Jerusalem

A young child sustained critical injuries Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Jerusalem. Medical teams reported that the child was initially taken to a local clinic before being transferred to the hospital, unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. The child was reportedly without pulse or respiration and was transported to the hospital while resuscitation efforts were ongoing.

The incident occurred in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood of Jerusalem, with police stating the child was apparently hit in a parking lot near a home. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision, and a traffic accident expert was dispatched to the scene to gather evidence.
