Hamas Interior Security Chief Captured in Gaza, Becomes Intelligence Goldmine

Israeli security officials are hailing the recent capture of Moin Al-Aarabid, identified as Hamas's head of internal security, describing him as an "intelligence treasure" following initial interrogations. Al-Aarabid is reportedly providing crucial information regarding Hamas's weapons caches, infrastructure, and personnel.

The daring operation, led by the IDF's Southern Command and the Shin Bet, involved special forces arriving in a white commercial vehicle to apprehend Al-Aarabid in Gaza. Simultaneously, the Israeli Air Force targeted military sites in the vicinity to neutralize threats to the ground forces. The operation was described by the Prime Minister as "daring."

Al-Aarabid was responsible for Hamas's force-building efforts, rehabilitation attempts, and restoring governance in Gaza. He was also involved in terror operations against Israeli forces and allegedly behind deception concerning the Strip's demilitarization.
