Ex-Maccabi Haifa Player Mavis Tchité Signs with Hapoel Acre
Congolese forward Mavis Tchité, 30, has signed with Hapoel Acre, returning to play in Israel. Tchité has a long history in Israeli football, having previously played for numerous clubs including Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Bnei Sakhnin, Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth academy, and Bnei Yehuda.
He won the State Cup with Bnei Yehuda before moving abroad to Ludogorets in Bulgaria. After returning to Israel to play for Maccabi Haifa, where he won two league championships, he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Tchité then moved abroad again, playing for Akron Tolyatti in Russia before joining Bnei Sakhnin. His most recent move was to Romanian second-division club Akran Shpëshi, where he made 10 appearances last season without scoring or assisting.
Hapoel Acre is currently competing in Israel's second-tier National League.
