Ex-Maccabi Haifa Star Mavice Tcheda Returns to Israel with Hapoel Acre

Congolese midfielder Mavice Tcheda, 30, has signed with Hapoel Acre, marking his return to Israeli football. Tcheda has a long history in Israel, having played for numerous clubs including Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Bnei Sakhnin. He began his Israeli career in the youth system of Maccabi Tel Aviv and also played for Hapoel Kfar Saba, Bnei Yehuda, and Maccabi Haifa, where he won two league championships. After a stint with Hapoel Tel Aviv, he moved abroad to Ludogorets in Bulgaria, then back to Maccabi Haifa. His subsequent moves took him to Akron Tolyatti in Russia, then Bnei Sakhnin, and finally Akrun Shpesi in Romania's second division, where he made 10 appearances last season without scoring or assisting.

In addition to Tcheda, Hapoel Acre has signed young player Yacouba Cheick Tidiane Toumagon from Burkina Faso and Frank Ezirozy from Ghana, who had also trialed with Hapoel Ramat Gan. Gitai Sapir also returns to the club, and Majd Dahla, who previously trialed with Hapoel Petah Tikva, has joined as well. On the departure side, Mor Naaman has left Hapoel Acre to sign with Hapoel Kfar Saba.
