Religious Zionist Party Gains as Feiglin Joins, Winter's Party Falls Below Threshold

A new poll indicates that the merger between the Religious Zionist Party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, and Moshe Feiglin's Zehut party has boosted the combined list to five Knesset seats. This union has pushed Ofer Winter's new "Am Israel" party below the electoral threshold, according to a survey conducted by Yossi Tatika of Tatika Research and Media, in conjunction with the Adgenda panel.

This outcome represents a reversal from the previous week, when Winter's party initially polled at six seats and Smotrich's party failed to pass the threshold. The current results suggest Feiglin's integration has strengthened Smotrich's bloc at the expense of rivals within it.

Meanwhile, in the "change bloc" (opposing the current government), Gadi Eisenkot's Yesh Atid party has weakened for the first time in months, dropping to 22 seats from 26 the prior week. This decline is attributed to the "Zionist Reserve" party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Chili Tropper, successfully crossing the electoral threshold with four seats.

Naftali Bennett's "Achva" party also saw an increase, rising to 15 seats from 14. Among Arab parties, the Joint List secured six seats, while Ra'am, following its official merger with Yoav Segalovitch, received five seats.

The poll, conducted on September 2nd and 3rd, 2026, surveyed 500 Jewish and Arab respondents with a maximum margin of error of 4.4%. The current coalition parties collectively garnered 50 seats, unchanged from the previous week. The "change bloc" now holds 55 seats, expanding to 59 if the "Zionist Reserve" seats are included. The survey also indicated 50 seats for Netanyahu supporters and 66 for opponents.
