Comedian Roey Bar Natan Auditions for Israeli Hip-Hop Band HaDag Nachash
As the veteran Israeli hip-hop group HaDag Nachash prepares to celebrate 30 years in music with a special concert series, they are looking to add a seventh member. Comedian Roey Bar Natan is among the hopefuls auditioning for the coveted spot. In his audition, Bar Natan presents new ideas aimed at attracting a younger audience, while also voicing some complaints.
Bar Natan's audition is the fourth episode in a five-part micro-comedy series produced by ynet and HaDag Nachash, which premiered on ynet this week. The series is written by Omri Amit and Adar Marom, and directed by Roey Florentin. Each episode features a different guest auditioning for the role of the seventh band member and performing a song with the group.
Other notable figures who have auditioned include Guri Alfi, Yonatan Barak, Joy Rieger, and Daniel Chen. New episodes are released daily on the ynet website at 8:00 PM. The band members are Shanan Street, Guy Mar, Dudush Kalmas, Moshe Asraf, Yaya Cohen Ahronov, and Shlomi Allon.
