Train Service Halted Near Bnei Brak Due to Nearby Brush Fire
Train traffic was suspended in the Bnei Brak area on Wednesday due to a brush fire that broke out near the railway tracks. The incident caused significant delays and schedule changes for trains serving the Sharon ring stations.
Five firefighting teams were dispatched to combat the blaze, which ignited along the banks of the Yarkon River in Ramat Gan, close to the railway line. Israel Railways announced that train operations would only resume after receiving final approval from the fire services working at the scene.
Firefighters are currently working to control the flames. Israel Railways stated that normal service will be restored once the fire department gives the all-clear.
