The government has approved Israel’s national artificial intelligence plan, according to an official statement. The goal, the government said, is to establish Israel as a “world leader in the field.”
The decision includes building sovereign infrastructure for artificial intelligence, as well as creating a national quantum computer. It also calls for establishing a national artificial intelligence institute and accelerator centers.
In addition, the plan sets national priorities in Cyber AI and Physical AI. It also aims to improve public services through the use of artificial intelligence.
