Nasrin Kadri Celebrates 40 Amid Career Highs and Personal Turmoil

Israeli singer and actress Nasrin Kadri is celebrating her 40th birthday, marking a significant milestone in a career that has blended Eastern music, pop, and Arabic classics. Kadri has become a prominent figure in Israeli culture, known for her powerful voice and engaging performances. Her journey began in northern Israeli clubs, honing her vocal skills for a decade before her breakthrough in 2012 after winning "Eyal Golan Calls You."

Kadri has achieved national and international recognition, including a historic performance in 2017 at the central Memorial Day ceremony, "Songs in the Square," where she sang Ofra Haza's "One Fate." That same year, she opened for the global rock band Radiohead during their U.S. tour as part of the project "Dudu Tassa and the Kuwaitis."

Her personal life has also seen significant transformations. In 2018, she completed a lengthy conversion to Judaism, adopting the Hebrew name "Bracha." Following the birth of her first son in 2022, she and her then-husband renamed him "Elia-Rif" after consulting a rabbi, seeking blessings and new energy.

A major turning point was her 2025 international tour across the United States, including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, which was highly successful, reportedly grossing over one million shekels from Jewish and Israeli communities. However, the demanding tour took a heavy personal toll, leading to marital crisis.

This crisis was documented in the third season of her docu-reality series, "Nasrin," chronicling her dramatic separation and divorce from her ex-husband, Rom Shamir, in the summer of 2026. Now, at 40, Kadri is embarking on a new chapter with a new relationship with David Zayton and the release of her new EP, "Lab-Grown Diamond." She also released a new single, "In the World of Crime," on her birthday, describing it as a gift to her fans and a symbol of starting anew with energy and connection.
