Israeli Couple Injured After TikTok Stunt Goes Wrong in Romania
A family's vacation in Romania took a dangerous turn when a couple attempted to film a TikTok video on a log over a river. Shuli and Bini Kfir, along with other family members, were dancing on a long log spanning a river when the wood suddenly broke, plunging them into the water.
"We counted and when we reached three, within half a second we were in the water," Bini Kfir recounted. He described the chaotic moments following the fall, detailing his efforts to rescue his wife, Shuli, from the strong river current and bring her to safety.
Shuli Kfir sustained injuries, including stitches to her head, and continues to experience pain in her arm. Despite the severe pain and the accident, she insisted on continuing the family trip. Her primary concern immediately after the fall was her ability to return to swimming, her passion. "As soon as I fell, I told myself 'How will I swim?' but we continued the trip, although I didn't go on the planned zip lines," she said.
The couple had previously seen many people posing on the same log and decided to create a "cool TikTok" during their trip. The initial attempt to film did not go as planned, leading to the second, disastrous attempt. The family was evacuated to the hospital following the incident.
