Two Boys, 13 and 14, Arrested in Northern Sharon for Alleged Rape of Disabled Girl
Police in the northern Sharon region have arrested two boys, aged 13 and 14, on suspicion of gang rape and severe assault of a girl of a similar age who has special needs. The alleged incident occurred over the past weekend and also resulted in injuries to the victim, who required medical attention.
The disturbing case came to light thanks to a vigilant neighbor who heard the girl's cries for help and immediately alerted the police. Responding officers quickly arrived at the scene, located the two underage suspects, and arrested them for questioning.
Investigators are working to determine if this was an isolated incident or if the victim had been subjected to repeated abuse. Authorities are also examining suspicions that other minors may have been involved or present during the alleged assault.
Due to the young age of those involved and the sensitive nature of the case, police requested a gag order. The Hadera Magistrate's Court granted the request, issuing a sweeping publication ban that prohibits the disclosure of the identities of those involved, their exact location, or any details of the ongoing investigation.
