Mother Recounts Horrific Rape of 13-Year-Old Daughter in Sharon

The mother of a 13-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped over the weekend in a city in Israel's Sharon region, has revealed harrowing details of the assault. Speaking on Kan News radio, the mother described how her daughter met the teenage suspects through a mutual friend, and that the family had even been in direct contact with them prior to the incident.

According to the mother, the suspects invited her daughter to a pre-planned meeting in a building's shelter on Saturday afternoon. "They took her to the shelter, there were already mattresses there, everything was already there. They had already planned it," she stated. "They brutally attacked her under threat of a knife," she recounted. "They broke chairs over her, hit her, beat her, and raped her horribly, with one holding her hands, one holding her legs, and one after another raping her. She describes horrors upon horrors there."

The assault reportedly ended when a passerby's arrival caused the suspects to flee. "They heard someone coming, ran, and fled barefoot. A guy who saw her asked 'What happened?', and she told him 'I was raped'. He took her to his home, told his mother, and together they called an ambulance and police."

The mother's decision to speak out stems from her fear that the suspects may have victimized other girls. "I believe this is not the first time this has happened. I believe there are other teenagers and other girls who haven't spoken. I heard about one other case that wasn't discussed or told, they just didn't complain." She praised her daughter's resilience, noting that the girl provided investigators with a detailed, minute-by-minute account of the ordeal, calling her "a hero."
