Israel Police Arrest More Suspects in Southern Hebron Hills Arson Attacks
Israeli police announced on Wednesday, September 2, the arrest of three additional suspects in connection with multiple serious arson incidents and attacks in the southern Hebron Hills region. The operation was a joint effort by the Judea and Samaria District Police, the Border Police (MAGAV), and the General Security Service (Shin Bet).
The detainees, aged 15 to 22, are residents of Judea and Samaria and central Israel. They were taken for questioning, and police intend to seek an extension of their detention in court. This follows the arrest of eight other suspects, aged 16 to 20, on the previous morning in connection with the same cases. A court extended the detention of seven of those individuals, while one was released under restrictive conditions.
