Israeli Police Investigate Jewish Settler Arson and Assaults in West Bank

The Judea and Samaria District Police launched an investigation on Saturday following an arson and assault incident near Hebron. According to Palestinian sources, Jewish assailants attacked a home in the village of Tzurif, setting a vehicle on fire and attempting to burn the house. Police forensic teams, accompanied by IDF forces, collected evidence and testimonies at the scene as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Simultaneously, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Jewish attackers assaulted a Palestinian man and woman in the village of Beitillu, northwest of Ramallah, while they were working on their farm. The victims were hospitalized with injuries.

Last week, Jewish assailants set fire to a house in the village of Furik near Nablus. Kan News revealed that reservists from the Combat Engineering Battalion refused orders to secure police forces investigating the arson in the Palestinian village, leading their commander to assign the task to another unit, which completed it.

Additionally, a mosque in the village of Kusra in Samaria was set ablaze, and the phrase "Revenge for Benayahu" was spray-painted on a nearby building. This attack occurred two days after a terror attack near the Gilad Farm area, which resulted in the deaths of Benayahu Malt and IDF Lieutenant Colonel Yuval Ezra.
