After appendicitis scare, Noa Kirel and Daniel Perez resume honeymoon

Pop star Noa Kirel and her husband, goalkeeper Daniel Perez, have decided to continue their honeymoon after a medical emergency forced them to cut it short. The newlyweds flew to Japan last weekend, but shortly after landing Kirel felt unwell and was rushed back to Israel, where doctors diagnosed a severe appendicitis and she was hospitalized in central Israel.

On Sunday, Kirel posted photos from Japan and from the hospital, writing, "We planned a honeymoon, but my appendix was not really cooperating." She then reassured fans, saying, "I am fine, thank you all for the concern. I have a perfect husband who took care of me. Only health, amen."

On Tuesday, Kirel said she had been cleared to travel to a quiet destination, and the couple chose Italy for the next leg of the trip. In an Instagram story, she said that after five days of home intravenous treatment three times a day, "the inflammation has gone down a lot thanks to them," and that professors had approved a switch to pills and travel for a few more days of honeymoon.

Kirel also thanked those caring for her and added, "Just rest, rest, rest." Kirel and Perez married in November and had finally found time in their busy schedules for the trip, which was expected to be longer before the medical issue intervened.
