Israeli "Dragon" Battalion Concludes Five-Month Combat Mission in Northern Sector

The Israeli military's 55th "Dragon" Battalion, part of the 215th Brigade, has completed a five-month combat mission in the northern sector. During this period, the battalion operated across more than 10 different locations, providing support to multiple divisions and dozens of brigades. Notably, the unit conducted operations beyond Israel's border, entering enemy territory for the first time since the establishment of the "security zone." At a ceremony marking the mission's end, Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel H. praised the soldiers for their service and readiness to fulfill objectives. "Under the roar of the lion, the people of Israel awoke to war once more. While the citizens of Israel fled to shelters, we ran to the guns. We did not yet know what the next task would be, but we did not need to know. We knew: wherever we arrived, the spirit of the dragon would arrive too," she stated, adding, "Warriors of the Dragon, it was an honor to fight alongside you."
