Iran Says Israel and Hezbollah Are Parties to U.S. Memorandum
Iran’s foreign minister said that Israel and Hezbollah are parties to the memorandum of understanding signed with the United States. He argued that any Israeli military strike against Lebanon, as well as any continued Israeli military presence on Lebanese territory, would amount to a violation of the agreement.
According to the minister, ending the war in Lebanon is also a binding part of ending the war with Iran. He described the first side in the memorandum as the United States and Israel, and the second side as Iran and Hezbollah.
