State Comptroller-Elect Rabillo Rejects Claims of Political Dependence in High Court Filing
Attorney Michael Rabillo, who was chosen to serve as Israel’s State Comptroller, submitted his response on Tuesday morning to petitions filed against his selection. In the filing, he said he accepts the role “with a deep sense of responsibility and full commitment to all citizens of Israel.”
Rabillo also rejected the claims made against him, saying he “rejects any claim of political or any other dependence,” and argued that there is no flaw in his decision to run for the post or to take on what he described as the important role of state auditing. He asked the High Court of Justice to dismiss the petitions.
