Feiglin and Smotrich Unite Parties for Upcoming Elections

Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the Religious Zionism party, and Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, announced an alliance for the upcoming elections. The two parties will run together under a technical bloc, maintaining their individual identities and principles. The union is framed as a crucial step to prevent the loss of right-wing votes in what is described as a critical election for the future of the national camp and Israel.

Both leaders emphasized the need for unity and responsibility to consolidate the right-wing bloc. Smotrich stated that this is the first of potentially many such unions, aiming to create a broad right-wing front. He highlighted key issues at stake, including security, settlement, the justice system, preventing a Palestinian state, and the need for significant national changes.

Feiglin echoed these sentiments, asserting that Zehut has consistently advocated for national responsibility and joint action. He pledged that their supporters' votes would not be wasted and that their values would be strongly represented. He called on all who cherish the Land of Israel, national security, and individual liberty to rally behind the joint list.

The agreement leaves the door open for other right-wing parties, forces, and individuals to join, with the ultimate goal of forming a strong right-wing government. The parties stressed that while differences exist, the immediate priority is the victory of the national camp.
