Religious Zionism and Zehut Parties Agree to Joint Election Run
Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the Religious Zionism party, and Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, are expected to sign an agreement to run together in the upcoming elections. The deal, reported by Amit Segal on Channel 12 News, will grant Feiglin four spots on the unified list. Feiglin himself will be placed in the second position, with additional spots allocated to Zehut at numbers eight, ten, and eleven.
The proposed slate includes Smotrich at number one and Feiglin at number two. Other notable placements on the list are Orit Strock at three, Simcha Rothman at five, and Zvi Sukkot at six. Feiglin's party, Zehut, will receive the eighth, tenth, and eleventh positions, with specific candidates for these spots to be determined.
This alliance comes amid broader efforts to consolidate the right-wing bloc and ensure parties cross the electoral threshold. Following the Smotrich-Feiglin agreement, further attempts will be made to expand the list and potentially include retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter.
