Far-Right Factions Smotrich and Feiglin Sign Election Pact
Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin are set to sign an agreement this evening to unite their political factions for the upcoming elections. Under the terms of the deal, Feiglin's faction will be allocated the 2nd, 8th, 10th, and 11th spots on the joint electoral list.
Following the signing, efforts are expected to focus on bringing Itamar Ben-Gvir's faction into the alliance. The merger aims to consolidate the far-right political bloc.
Smotrich leads the Religious Zionism party, while Feiglin heads the Zehut party. Ben-Gvir leads the Otzma Yehudit party. The parties are vying for votes within the religious Zionist and nationalist camp.
