Google Pixel 11 Series Launches in Israel with Official Distributor

Electra Consumer Products has officially launched Google's Pixel 11 smartphone series in Israel, offering a two-year manufacturer's warranty. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at 4,799 shekels, with the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL priced from 4,899 shekels. This marks a significant price increase compared to the previous Pixel 10 Pro generation, which ranged from 3,800 to 4,500 shekels. Electra attributes the higher cost to global component price hikes and the provision of an extended service package.

The new Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models feature Google's Tensor G6 processor, Titan M3 security chip, and Super Actua LTPO OLED displays with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. The camera system boasts a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 48-megapixel lenses, supporting up to 120x AI-enhanced digital zoom. Electra is also importing Google TV streaming devices and Google Nest smart home products.

Parallel importers are offering the Pixel 11 series at considerably lower prices, with the Pixel 11 Pro 512GB available for 4,049 shekels, a saving of 750 shekels compared to the official distributor. However, these parallel imports typically come with only a one-year local warranty, contrasting with Electra's two-year manufacturer's warranty. Consumers face a decision between the cost savings of parallel imports and the extended peace of mind offered by the official distributor's warranty.
