Six People Die in Deadly Weekend Traffic Accidents Across Israel

A deadly weekend on Israeli roads resulted in six fatalities from multiple severe traffic accidents nationwide. Among the victims was a quad bike rider killed in a hit-and-run incident in the Gaza border area, and a 93-year-old man who died following a three-vehicle collision near Ra'anana Junction on Highway 4.

In the Gaza border region, emergency teams found the quad bike rider unconscious and without vital signs after being struck by a fleeing vehicle. Despite prolonged resuscitation efforts and advanced medical treatment, she was pronounced dead at the hospital. Paramedics Guy Elmaiks and Dov Markovitz described the scene, noting the victim was found unresponsive by the roadside.

Additionally, a 40-year-old foreign worker was critically injured in the same area and later died at Soroka Medical Center due to multiple severe injuries. On Highway 4 near Ra'anana Junction, the elderly man was initially treated and hospitalized with a serious head injury but succumbed to his wounds at Meir Medical Center.

Magen David Adom teams provided emergency care and transported the injured to hospitals, but the severity of the accidents led to multiple deaths, marking one of the deadliest weekends on Israeli roads recently.
