Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Arrests and Raids Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli forces launched a large-scale arrest and raid operation across various parts of the West Bank and East Jerusalem early Friday. The operation targeted numerous Palestinians, including released prisoners, with dozens of homes searched and their contents disturbed. Residents were subjected to on-the-spot interrogations after being detained and mistreated for hours.

In Nablus, forces arrested Mahmoud Zahar Daoud after raiding his home in the town of Beita. Simultaneously, settlers attacked vehicles near the settlement of Yitzhar. In Ramallah and al-Bireh, forces raided the village of Aboud and the town of Salwad, as well as areas within Ramallah city. Settlers also assaulted a girl near the Carmelo checkpoint east of the city.

The incursions extended to Tulkarm governorate, with forces entering the towns of Bella and Allar. Qalqilya governorate saw raids in the towns of Habla and Ras Atiya, along with searches in Beit Amin and Izbet Salman. In Jenin, forces raided the town of Qabatiya, turning one house into a temporary military post amid ongoing movements and arrests. Three Palestinians were arrested in the town of Mesiliya.

In East Jerusalem, forces raided the town of Silwan and the Ain al-Loza neighborhood south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Local sources reported a young man was injured by Israeli forces' gunfire during the Silwan raid. The operations were accompanied by settler attacks on Palestinians and their vehicles, as raids and arrests continued throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
