Milvitzky Spokesperson Defends MK After Leaked Video

The spokesperson for Knesset Finance Committee Chairman Hanoch Milvitzky, Or Yitzhak, has responded to a leaked video from Milvitzky's office. In the video, the Likud MK can be heard complaining that his staff are not responding to him. Yitzhak stated that the video is one of many exchanges over the past four years within the private office group and expressed sadness that someone chose to leak it. She asserted that the leak does not change the facts or diminish Milvitzky's work during his term, adding that his complaints show he is a considerate boss who collaborates with his team. Yitzhak concluded by wishing a good end to the fast before the upcoming Yom Kippur holiday and stating that the leaker should be ashamed.

Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf of the Otzma Yehudit party also commented on the controversy, expressing anger at Milvitzky's staff. He criticized what he called "ingratitude," emphasizing that the employees were given positions of trust and livelihood. Wasserlauf questioned why they would stop answering phones and leak embarrassing videos when Milvitzky is not continuing in the next term, especially since they are still receiving salaries. He stated that while disappointment and anger are permissible, and leaving the job is an option, loyalty and respect for the person who trusted them are paramount. Wasserlauf concluded by saying that people who turn their backs when they have nothing more to gain are disrespectful and disappointing.
