MK Milvitzky Caught on Tape Berating Staff Over Unanswered Calls

A leaked video captures Israeli lawmaker Hanoch Milvitzky expressing extreme anger towards his office staff for their alleged lack of responsiveness and professional commitment. The incident occurred after Milvitzky secured a low ranking in the Likud party's primaries. In the recording, Milvitzky can be heard confronting his aides, stating, "I'm happy you all have plans, and I'm also happy that none of you are checking and don't think it's right to answer me after so much time." He accused them of ignoring him and threatened to terminate their employment at the end of September if they did not demonstrate renewed commitment.

Milvitzky issued an ultimatum, saying, "Now you're not even answering me, so if you don't feel like working and you don't feel obligated, that's great. Let's all finish on September 30th, you're all going home, you want to? I'll bring someone, if I think I need to, who will be close to me and I can use for the month or month and a half I have left. Come on, please, just tell me that."

The spokesperson for Milvitzky defended the lawmaker, characterizing the leaked video as one of many communications within the office's private WhatsApp group over the past four years. The spokesperson criticized the leak, stating, "It's sad that someone thought it was right to release a video of this type. Its dissemination to the public does not change anything from the facts and certainly cannot erase the work of an entire term." The spokesperson added, "On a personal note, Yom Kippur is approaching, whoever leaked the video should be ashamed of themselves."
