MK Milvitsky Accuses Israeli Security and Legal Leaders of Leading a Rebellion
Newly released recordings of MK Hanoch Milvitsky reveal his sharp criticism of senior Israeli security and legal officials, accusing them of fomenting rebellion within the state. Speaking on a Wednesday evening news broadcast, Milvitsky claimed there is a "rebellion in the State of Israel" led by parts of the security establishment, the prosecution, and judges acting against the country. He accused the Supreme Court justices of being "extreme leftists" who misuse the law to incite this rebellion.
Milvitsky also criticized ongoing military engagements, stating that Israel continues to fight in unwinnable conflicts where "there is no justice or law." Earlier the same day, following the Supreme Court's ruling against the appointment of attorney Michael Regev as State Comptroller, Milvitsky called for ignoring the court's decision. He described the ruling as "illegal" and urged the government to stop participating in what he called "the absurd theater" led by Supreme Court President Isaac Amit and his colleagues. Milvitsky emphasized the need for governance and declared, "The time has come to act."
