A new French-language Talmud edition, based on Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz’s commentary, has been completed and unveiled in Jerusalem. Backed by the Patrick and Lina Drahi Foundation, it was presented as a historic reversal of the French role in the burning of the Talmud in Paris.
