Lebanese Security Detains Afghan Citizen for Attempting to Spy for Israel

Lebanese General Security recently arrested an Afghan citizen suspected of attempting to establish contact with Israeli entities. According to a report by Lebanon's MTV channel, an examination of the man's phone revealed efforts to communicate with Israeli accounts, including that of Colonel Avichay Adraee, the former Arabic spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces. The detainee allegedly offered to provide Israel with intelligence regarding Hezbollah and locations within Lebanon, but reportedly received no response.
