Man Indicted for Attempted Murder After Stabbing in Beersheba Supermarket
The Southern District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Maher Al-Gargawi, 20, from Segev Shalom, for the attempted murder of a young man from the Abu Tahe family in a Beersheba supermarket. The attack occurred in the early afternoon and was captured on the store's security cameras. The footage shows Al-Gargawi and an accomplice entering the supermarket armed with knives. Upon spotting the victim standing between the shelves, Al-Gargawi attacked him from behind, knocking him to the floor, after which both assailants repeatedly stabbed the victim while he was defenseless. The incident is part of an ongoing blood feud between the two families.
