Singer Shuli Rand Officially Divorces First Wife After Public Dispute

Israeli singer Shuli Rand and his first wife, Michal, have officially divorced after decades of marriage and a highly publicized conflict. The couple, who share seven children, ended their marriage following years of mutual accusations and legal battles. The public controversy intensified when Rand married media personality Tzofit Grant while still legally married to Michal, having obtained a "permission from a hundred rabbis" to remarry. Since then, Michal has accused Rand of neglecting his children emotionally and financially, claiming he lacks consistent contact and support.

Grant, who had remained relatively silent, recently defended Rand in a podcast hosted by Itay Segal, describing him as a devoted father maintaining good relations with his children. She also denied allegations of neglect or abuse, revealing that Rand came to her in a difficult financial state, burdened with debts and lacking a bank account or driver's license. Grant suggested that without her intervention, Rand's situation could have worsened significantly.
