MK Gilad Kariv, a leader of the Democratic Party, publicly wished success to Arab parties in the upcoming Israeli Knesset elections scheduled for October 27. In a message posted on Facebook in Arabic, Kariv emphasized that the Democratic Party does not compete for the Arab vote against Arab parties but rather supports their success. He highlighted that strong Arab representation is crucial both for the Arab community and for Israeli democracy as a whole.

Kariv explained that the Democratic Party targets Arab voters who do not support Arab parties and want to influence the political landscape, as well as young voters who have not previously participated in elections. In an interview with the Israeli-Arab news channel HaLa TV, he called on young Arab citizens to vote, stressing that the Democratic Party treats them with respect and views them as equals.
