The meeting included a platoon commander, three company commanders, and several other militants who were advancing terror plans against Israeli troops operating in Gaza. The IDF noted that one of the militants involved had crossed into Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians.
