Israeli Drone Strike Kills Nine at Gaza Police Post Following Air Attacks on Nukhba Commanders

Palestinian media reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted a police post in Gaza City on Wednesday, killing at least nine people and injuring 15. This attack came just one day after the Israeli Air Force struck Nukhba commanders in the Shati refugee camp in northwest Gaza. The Israeli military confirmed the strike, stating that the Nukhba commanders had met in Gaza City to plan attacks against Israeli forces. The meeting included a platoon commander, three company commanders, and several other militants who were advancing terror plans against Israeli troops operating in Gaza. The IDF noted that one of the militants involved had crossed into Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians. The Israeli military described the airstrike as necessary to neutralize the threat posed by these militants.
