Jerusalem Bus Driver Caught Driving Under Influence of Drugs
Israeli police detained a 26-year-old public bus driver from East Jerusalem on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The driver, employed by a public transportation company, was stopped during a planned operation by detectives from the Jerusalem district's YAMAR unit alongside officers from the Oz police station. Tests revealed the presence of cocaine and cannabis in his system. Following an investigation and a hearing conducted by a police officer at the Oz station, the driver’s license was suspended for 30 days, and the bus was taken out of service for the same period.
