Ramat Hasharon Tops Israeli Cities in Household Electricity Consumption, Partner Group Data Shows

New data released by Partner Group reveals detailed insights into household electricity consumption patterns across Israeli cities. The average monthly electricity usage per household stands at approximately 757 kWh, with an average monthly bill of about 456 shekels after discounts. Ramat Hasharon leads the list as the city with the highest electricity consumption, followed by Hod Hasharon, Modiin-Maccabim-Reut, Rosh HaAyin, and Bat Yam. Conversely, cities with the lowest consumption include Givatayim, Kiryat Bialik, Kiryat Motzkin, Haifa, and Carmiel, which ranks lowest among the cities surveyed.

Seasonal variations significantly impact electricity usage, with the summer months from June to September showing the highest average consumption at around 966 kWh per household and an average bill of 582 shekels. Weekly patterns indicate that Fridays and Saturdays have the highest electricity consumption, with the peak daily usage recorded on Friday, August 15, averaging 46 kWh per household. The lowest daily consumption occurred on Monday, April 1, at 17 kWh per household. Peak usage hours during the day are between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

During the recent "Roaring Lion" military operation, household electricity consumption among Partner Power customers increased by up to 12% compared to a similar period. The most significant rise was observed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., coinciding with typical work and school hours, reflecting the extended time Israelis spent at home due to Home Front Command restrictions.
