In a high-scoring Toto Cup ranking match on August 17, Beitar Jerusalem edged out Hapoel Ramat Gan in a penalty shootout, with defender Uri Dahan scoring the decisive penalty. Despite his crucial goal, Dahan did not celebrate enthusiastically, aware that he is likely to transfer before the close of the transfer window. The coaching staff has made it clear that Dahan currently ranks as the fifth-choice center-back behind Gil Cohen and Liel Drai, who are considered the primary replacements for Luka Gadrani and Brian Karbali.

Meanwhile, the club expressed confidence in goalkeeper Yoni Ouzer, who started in place of Miguel Silva but did not perform at the level he showed last season. Club officials stated, "It happens. He is an excellent goalkeeper who will get more chances this year to prove his worth." Additionally, players Ilai Hajaj and Ravid Abergil are set to be loaned out, and Beitar plans to sign an experienced foreign midfielder who has been waiting for an opportunity in top leagues but has yet to join one.

Beitar Jerusalem is preparing carefully ahead of the Israeli Premier League season, balancing squad depth and potential transfers to strengthen the team. The club is taking a measured approach to acquiring new talent, aiming to enhance the squad without rushing into signings.
