Following their elimination from European competition, Beitar Jerusalem has adjusted its transfer strategy, prioritizing the acquisition of a high-profile attacking midfielder. Previously aiming to sign an additional foreign defender alongside Brian Kavali and Luka Gadrani, the club now plans to invest up to one million shekels (approximately 300,000 euros) in a midfielder's salary through the end of the season. Owner Barak Abramov has committed to funding this position either by purchase or loan with a buy option, depending on the coaching staff's recommendations.

Abramov has pledged continued investment as long as fan support remains strong, with over 20,000 season tickets sold for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, the team is preparing for a Toto Cup qualification match against Hapoel Ramat Gan. Due to the heavy workload from the Conference League qualifiers, coach Almog Cohen will rotate the squad, resting key players including Jordan Shua, Boris Enow, Sean Weisman, Kavali, Yarden Cohen, and Nana Antwi, who are either recovering from minor injuries or need rest.

Players such as Yonatan Ozer, Roy Elimelech, Liel Darai, Nevo Shado, Nadav Markovich, Ziv Ben Shimol, Timothy Muzi, and Eugene Ansa, who did not start in the recent match against Austria Vienna, are expected to feature in the upcoming game. This strategic shift reflects Beitar Jerusalem's intent to strengthen its midfield and maintain competitive performance domestically and in future European campaigns.
