Maccabi Tel Aviv will face Maccabi Netanya in the Toto Cup semi-final on Sunday at 20:00, with some key absences in their squad. Despite being expected to leave the club soon, Said Abu Farhi will be included in the team, although it is uncertain if he will play or for how long. The club is taking the Toto Cup seriously, aiming to field as many first-team players as possible despite the recent European match against CSKA Sofia.

Several players who started in the European game will not feature in the Toto Cup match. Ali Mohamed Kamara is injured and unavailable, though the club hopes to have him ready for the upcoming game against FC Lugano on Thursday. Roy Raviv, who also started in Sofia, will not be part of the squad by the club's decision.

After a long absence and a loan spell at Lavdiakos in Greece, midfielder Hisham Laios has been called up and is expected to play. Coach Kenny Miller has been impressed with Laios during training and may keep him on the team for the upcoming season.
