This claim is based on testimonies from individuals who were present and served in the area on that day. Il Ashel emphasized that this new detail emerged from independent information gathering rather than official IDF sources. He stated, "Every day we learn new things, so here is something new we learned." Ashel explained that the intelligence about the base and its forces was collected prior to the surprise attack, and he is personally committed to this investigation as part of a mission entrusted to him by his late daughter. He expressed acceptance of his daughter's death but said she tasked him with healing the country and changing the reality for future generations.
