Former Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen Reveals Israeli Reconnaissance at Iran’s Fordow Nuclear Site

Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen disclosed at the Galilee Conference in Safed that Israeli forces have conducted multiple reconnaissance missions at Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility to study the site. Cohen discussed Iran’s enriched uranium progress, stating that its current 60% enrichment level remains insufficient for a nuclear bomb. He also praised recent U.S. airstrikes on the Fordow site, calling them the fulfillment of his dreams. According to former U.S. President Donald Trump, the June 2023 strike successfully destroyed Iran’s nuclear facility. CNN reported that the U.S. operation involved six B-2 stealth bombers dropping twelve 13.5-ton bunker-buster bombs (GBU-57) on Fordow. Additionally, U.S. submarines launched 30 Tomahawk missiles targeting nuclear sites in Natanz and Isfahan, with a B-2 bomber dropping two bunker-busters on Natanz totaling 27 tons. Cohen also confirmed he will not run in the upcoming elections. The U.S. ambassador stated that Iran has not yet grasped the message sent by the Fordow strike.
