Ahead of their away game against Bnei Sakhnin at Doha Stadium, Maccabi Haifa issued an unusual advisory to its supporters, recommending they arrive in groups of at least three rather than alone. The club announced that only 500 tickets were allocated to visiting fans and that ticket prices were reduced following discussions with relevant authorities. The safety warning stems from past violent incidents near the stadium, including a notable disturbance in November 2025 where Maccabi Haifa fans reported being attacked with sticks and stones at a nearby restaurant. The club aims to minimize situations where individual fans might be vulnerable before or after the match.
